Year 7 Booklist. Year 8 Booklist. Norwood Morialta High School takes great pride in its uniform. All students are expected to wear their uniform appropriately at all times. We believe that the wearing of the uniform not only creates a strong sense of identity within our school and wider community, but also supports the safety and wellbeing of our students. The current uniform will remain the same, however the logo will be updated to reflect the new name as per the logo to the left.

Continuing students will not be expected to replace their uniform and should continue to wear it with pride. Our school already offers a wide range of uniform items for all students and will be expanding this selection.

New items are expected in store around March, In all middle school students in Years will be required to wear their sports uniform to school on the days they have their lessons or a class excursion with a physical activity. These items will be available from February Some uniform items are compulsory. These items can be worn every day and also for special events such as assemblies, excursions and designated occasions. Other items are optional and are not to be worn on formal occasions.

School Socks plain grey or navy knee highs or crew length Socks should not be anklet or sockette styles or with visible logos. School Shoes black leather school shoes covering the foot heels, boots, sneakers, canvas shoes, slip-ons are not permitted.

These items can be purchased from the uniform supplier or borrowed from the school for special occasions. School Puffer jacket navy zip puffer jacket with school logo. Similarly socks are not to be worn over tights, nor tights to be worn under shorts. Year students are required to wear their sports uniform to school on days they have PE classes or a class excursion that requires them to wear their sports uniform.

Middle school students will only be required to change into their sports uniform at school if they have a special training activity on a non-PE class day. Students in Years are not to wear their sports uniform or any pieces of the sports uniform outside of their PE, Rowing or Outdoor Education lesson.

These students are required to wear their full school uniform during the day as well as to and from school. These items are to be worn for related events only and not at school in lieu of other uniform items. All new items are highlighted in green and will have the new logo and name. For safety and personal security, students are required to minimise their jewellery and have short nails. Facial piercings are not permitted and must be covered at all times.

Hair is to be in a neat clean hairstyle and of natural colour with plain navy or grey hair accessories only. Facial hair must be neat and trimmed. It is expected that the transition from clean shaven to neat trimmed facial hair will occur during a term holiday break. The Digital Transition Session is designed specifically for year 7 and 8 students. During the session students hear from current students and key staff who will share information about the transition to Norwood Morialta High School.

The NMHS laptop program provides students with the opportunity to experience education enriched through technology.

When technology integration in the classroom is seamless and thoughtful, students are not only more engaged, but they also begin to take more control over their own learning. At NMHS our students engage in a range of digital learning platforms via their laptop to collaborate with peers, access digital content and develop as respectful global citizens.

At Norwood Morialta High School NMHS it is an expectation that each student has access to a laptop to enable them to fully engage in their learning to complete set tasks, research and investigate, as well as learning collaboratively and virtually at any time.

We understand some families may have different devices for their child to use, however it is essential that students have the same recommended device to enable consistent in-class learning support, technical assistance and the ability to charge devices at school using school-charging stations. Transition programs for students aged at ACCEPT Center for Learning and Growth that ready students for employment, college, high school or special diploma, independent living or adult services.

Access community resources including grocery stores, banks, malls, museums, libraries, parks, gyms, and public transportation.
