How long does a pledge last on sims 2

During this time, they should focus on building a lot of the Toddler skills to maximize their chances of getting good unique traits to better prepare them for the future.

Children are a surprisingly easy life stage to deal with, but as is the case with toddlers, there isn't much available for children to do. Many of the community lots in particular seem to have a lack of any real activities, other than the good old playground and a few swings here and there.

Like Toddlers, they have their unique skills to develop for the future as well, and grade school to worry about. Sims will remain children for 13 days. For Parenthood owners, ensuring they have good manners and are emotionally stable is key as well. Once a Sim reaches their teenage years, they'll only change slightly in build and height while keeping their current skills.

As such, teens can start developing their adulthood skills immediately, while also handling school and possibly thinking about university if the player has Discover University installed.

Teens can also participate in a set of part time jobs. Teenage years last for 14 days, and will no doubt be filled with high school homework and for owners of the Parenthood pack, phases which might be hard to deal with. Just like with children, they need to be guided by parents to increase their emotional control and manners, but they're also much more proactive about teaching themselves these skills.

Young adult is the bread and butter of the game, and is considered the default starting age. The grand majority of the world's Sims will be in this life stage, which is filled with tons of opportunities and life paths. It's the one age group that has the most choice while also being relatively far away from death.

Young adulthood has all the skills in the game available, and lasts for a very long time: 24 days. If a Sim gets pregnant during this time, the time will get extended even further, so family oriented Sims might stay young for quite some time. Adults are basically just a continuation of the young adult life stage. The only difference is that player's might notice some lines forming around their Sim's face, namely around the mouth and the eyes. It's the inevitable signs of aging, slowly coming in as the Sim powers through their career and family life.

There are no new skills in this life stage, and all skills carry over from young adulthood. This life stage lasts the same amount of time as young adulthood, a whopping 24 days which gets extended by any pregnancies a Sim might experience during this time. The final life stage of any Sim is elder. It's also one of the most underwhelming life stages in the game right now, with very few unique activities and gameplay features available. No wonder Simmers have been asking for more content, even just CAS items, to spice up the life and appearance of their elderly Sims.

When a Sim reaches this age, they need be careful of any strenuous physical activities yes, even WooHoo , as that can spell their death sooner than expected. Elders with the Active and Long Lived traits can expect a longer life, although the exact days as an elder are hard to pinpoint, since they vary from one Sim to another.

Players should note that, if the House has an outbuilding, its door may be considered the "front door" for this purpose. A Sim can use the "join Greek House" option using the phone. If this is done, members of the House will come to meet that Sim. A scenario begins, and the Sim has a few hours to gain enough daily relationship points with each of the members who have arrived.

If the Sim does not gain enough relationship points in the allotted time, they can continue to build relationship scores with the Sims from the Greek House, and try again. If the Sim already had enough relationship points before calling, the scenario will end immediately upon their arrival with a success notification. If the playable Sim and the Greek House member have a high enough relationship, asking to join the Greek House will have a positive outcome or start the Greek House scenario.

Pledges can be influenced to do anything without using influence points, though they will still leave if their needs become low enough. After spending a certain amount of time on the lot, the pledges become full members. Greek House members can then ask these Sims to move into the Greek House. Sims who become full members of a Greek House do not have to move into the House. When playing a Greek House, non-resident members are more likely to walk by, and may be able to use some objects that visitors normally cannot use.

Non-resident members of a Greek House who are on the lot can be asked to move in if there is room for them. Unlike the normal "Propose Move In" interaction, this does not require a high relationship between the two Sims; any resident of the House can ask. A playable Sim who is a non-resident member of a Greek House can move into the House by using the telephone, if the House has room for another resident.

Greek houses return in The Sims 3: University Life as single-sex fraternities and sororities; Sims University has one of each. Because college terms are much shorter in University Life than in The Sims 2: University , there are no pledging or joining requirements; Sims can simply move in when they arrive.

In effect, they are treated as single-sex dormitories. In The Sims 4: Discover University , fraternities and sororities aren't separate lot assignments , but rather special types of university housing. Gender restrictions for dorms can be set in their configuration panels, similar to configuring settings for a business. The Sims Wiki Explore. Recent posts Game news Community news.
